About Me
With a passion for writing, I received a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College. As the descendant of Minnesota’s territorial pioneers and with a love of history, I especially enjoy writing historical fiction. After retiring from the Anoka County Historical Society, I volunteered to work with the Brooklyn Historical Society and coordinated the Brooklyn Historical Society Civil War subcommittee.
During the winter, I live in sunny Florida with my husband Randy. During the summer, we live in Golden Valley, Minnesota. With my son Rich and daughter Brenda, Eric, and their family living nearby, I feel very blessed!
